The Zandona Therapeutic Wellness Ceramic Rug represents an innovative solution in the field of magnetically and ceramic-supported equine equipment. It combines two technologies – permanent magnets and a special ceramic functional material – designed to accompany the horse’s comfort and overall well-being.
The rug is primarily made from a breathable fabric incorporating ionic minerals. This functional material reflects the horse’s natural body heat in the far infrared (FIR) range, supporting a pleasantly warming and balanced wearing sensation.
In addition, the rug is equipped with 32 permanent magnets made from a neodymium-iron-boron alloy with nickel coating, each providing a magnetic flux density of 2600 Gauss. The magnets are strategically positioned in the lumbar, back and shoulder areas.
The rug can be used on its own or underneath a winter rug, offering versatile application options – both in the stable and during rest phases after training or transport.

Reflex-zone-oriented positioning
The placement of the magnets follows traditional meridian and reflex points of the horse, as described in acupuncture theory.
In traditional practice, these areas are associated with balancing and supportive impulses:
• Along the Bladder meridian on both sides of the spine – traditionally linked to the back and muscle areas
• Behind the shoulder blade and shoulder along the Small Intestine meridian – traditionally associated with balance and the musculoskeletal system
• In the area of the Triple Heater (San Jiao) meridian – traditionally connected to energy flow and harmony
• Along the Bladder meridian in the croup area – traditionally linked to the hindquarters and locomotor system
The magnetic and ceramic components may help support the horse’s well-being and accompany the natural recovery phase after exertion.
The rug is intended for use during rest periods and is not suitable for dynamic activities.

Instrucción de uso:
The horse should be gradually accustomed to the product through several short initial applications, as it may experience a mild warming or tingling sensation at first. During the first applications, the horse should be monitored to ensure that the magnetic components are not damaged. Suitable for horses of all ages and genders, preferably when the horse is at rest. Apply only when the horse is calm and cooled down. Not suitable for paddock use or dynamic activities (e.g. hacking, training sessions, or free movement work).
