Descripción del producto
In the “Manufacturer information and documents” section, you will find a detailed description and guidance for this product.
The name sidepull reflects the working principle of this bitless bridle. The reins act directly: when one rein is taken, pressure is applied to the opposite side of the nose, encouraging the horse to turn. When both reins are taken evenly, pressure is applied to the nose bridge, prompting the horse to slow down or halt.
The leather noseband runs to sturdy side rings, where both the cheek pieces and reins are attached. A diagonal leather connection provides stability, prevents slipping, and allows additional influence on the cheeks. This design ensures direct and precise rein aids.
Correct positioning is essential: the noseband should sit on the firm part of the nose bridge. When one rein is applied, pressure acts on the corresponding side of the nose and cheek, enabling targeted steering. Even rein contact distributes pressure across the nose bridge, supporting control of pace and direction.
Thanks to its direct action, the sidepull offers clear and uncomplicated communication and is ideal for sensitive horses as well as riders who prefer a simple bitless solution.
The sidepull is also suitable for groundwork and lunging. For single-line lunging, a lunge attachment is clipped to the side rings normally used for the reins. For double lunge work or the use of auxiliary reins, the same rings can be used.
