Pavo GastriCover has been specially developed to support your horse’s sensitive stomach and digestive system. Its carefully balanced formula helps protect the stomach lining, supports the natural regeneration of the stomach wall and promotes a healthy gastric environment.
The key ingredient, Maerl – a calcareous marine algae – acts as a natural acid buffer. Unlike many other buffering agents, Maerl works gradually over a longer period of time, helping to neutralise excess stomach acid while maintaining normal digestive function.
The formula also contains apple pulp and de-sugared beet pulp, which provide valuable pectins. These help form a protective layer on the stomach lining while also acting as prebiotics to support the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
In addition, the probiotic live yeast Biosprint® (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) supports digestion, improves fibre utilisation and helps maintain a healthy and balanced gut microbiome.
By combining stomach support, prebiotics and probiotics, Pavo GastriCover promotes both gastric and intestinal health and helps maintain optimal digestive function.

Usage Instruction:
Recommended Daily Feeding Rate: Intensive Support: Divide the total daily amount into 3 servings: Pony (300 kg): 3 × 60 g = 180 g per day Horse (600 kg): 3 × 110 g = 330 g per day General Support: Divide the total daily amount into 2 servings: Pony (300 kg): 2 × 50 g = 100 g per day Horse (600 kg): 2 × 100 g = 200 g per day Feeding Instructions: For intensive support, feed GastriCover for at least 3 weeks. For ongoing stomach support, GastriCover can be fed as a long-term supplement. During periods of stress, feed GastriCover throughout the time your horse is affected by the stressful situation. Simply mix GastriCover into your horse’s regular feed. Tip! Divide the daily concentrate ration into several meals throughout the day (2–3 servings) and add Pavo GastriCover to each meal.
